Research on various applications of Machine-Learning techniques: Traffic Sign Recognition, Real-time visual obect category (pedestrian, car, ...) detection, gestures and actions recognition, prediction of trajectories or/and intentions of pedestrians and human drivers, deep reinforcement learning for vision-based autopilots and for tasks of robotic manipulation.

What I have been working on there:
- learning algorithms for recurrent neural networks and application to industrial process modelization;
- algorithms for automatic dimensioning of neural networks and application to numerical modulation recognition of signals;
- new techniques for still image compression;
- various software simulator developments related to railways and telecommunications.

- management of a team of up to 4 research engineers, software development project management.

Numerical simulations of non-linear gravitationnal collapse:
- development of simulation software for CRAY-2 supercomputer, and of various other softwares for simulation results analysis, visualization, and modelisation;
- design and execution of numerical experiment plans, statistical analysis of real astronomical data and simulated data, and mathematical modelization of simulation results;
- writing of scientific publications, communications in congresses.
